The song, which was written in 1935 for a girl guides jamboree includes the word ‘gay’ in the chorus ‘laugh kookaburra, gay your life must be’. The head master decided to change the word to ‘fun’ because it always caused the children to giggle when they had to sing it. He explained that they often used the term in the playground and it had a variety of meanings none of which was the same as the one the word had when the song was written. He changed the word in order to stop the bad behaviour of pupils.

However, he soon got complaints after a local newspaper reported that he had done it and he started receiving emails from readers of the paper and gay rights groups stating that they felt insulted by the fact that he had chosen to change the word. They felt that the change of the word was signifying to the children that it was unacceptable to use this word and they obviously disapproved of implication that the term was bad and therefore derogatory. Also that it was a step back in time considering what the gay rights groups have achieved recently.

The headmaster reacted to this by explaining that he may have overreacted and had he explained to the children what the word meant in the context of the song then it may have provided a solution to the problem. It was just not a solution that he had thought of at the time. He also stated that it was not a school policy or meant to be dictatorial but just to help manage the behaviour of the pupils when singing it.

Huggies, who manufacture many ranges of disposable nappies, have designed a range which have a denim look and even pockets on the back and sides in the same style that jeans do. They say that it means parents do not have to put another layer of clothing on the child, as it looks like they are already wearing something.

The company has been accused of making babies fashionable at too young an age but the nappies are proving to be very popular in the US where they are now on sale. It may be possible that they would not prove to be so successful in the UK, where forcing fashion too early tends to be frowned upon.

The disposable nappies contain all of the expected protection from wetness and leaks but just come in a denim style design. They are not actually made of denim, just made to look as if they are. They are sold for £8 for 29 nappies and are available in three sizes.

There is an advertisement for the nappy showing a people staring open mouthed at the cool baby in the denim nappy and the slogan is ‘The coolest you’ll look pooping your pants’. It can be viewed on YouTube.

Huggies say that because jeans have always been something that stylish parents like their children to wear then it just seemed like a natural choice. They say that the nappies are fun and unique and a great way to make your baby cool. They say that they make babies look cuter and stylish. They also explained that as Mommy’s always love jeans then it is nice that they have a chance to let their little ones wear something similar too.

The boys allegedly gave away free porn DVD’s when customers spent over £5 on beer and burgers from the unlicensed vehicle. The van was parked near clubs and bars in the town in order to catch potential customers on their way home from a night out and it was reported that they even screened DVD’s on a nearby wall to attract attention to themselves and what they were doing. There was also a sign on the side of the van which read ‘Personal Service Guaranteed – Free Porno with every order over £5′.

There was even a Facebook page set up in their honour and it was called ‘Driffield Porn Burger Caravan Lads for Junior Apprentice 2010′ as they had a group of followers who thought that what they were doing was extremely enterprising. It was certainly a novel idea, although completely illegal.

Outraged locals from all over the town, of varying ages, reported the van and what it was selling to the police, when they discovered what was going on and the police then carried out an undercover operation to prove it was happening. They were given the porn DVD’s with several purchases that they made and were also sold alcohol and therefore had enough evidence to arrest the men and seize the vehicle. The caravan was seized from the centre of the market town and the two men were promptly arrested. The police are now making further enquiries to gather extra evidence as they need to speak to trading standards before they have enough data to complete the information they need.

The thirty one year old singer and guitarist saw a man inside a rubbish bin one day and decided that he would like to try it for himself. He was thrilled when he realised that he could fit inside. Later, Charlie Covey, learnt to play the guitar and decided it might be a good idea to try busking as a way of raising some extra money. A friend reminded him about how he once fitted inside a bin and he decided that it would make a good novelty act if he played his instrument and sang from inside a rubbish bin.

He manages to attract crowds of people in Cambridge, where he plays, because they often cannot work out where the music is coming from. They all crowd around the bin while he performs, trying to figure out why the music is coming from a rubbish bin. The problem he has is that he cannot get out of the bin very quickly, as it is a tight squeeze and so he has had a problem with the money that he has collected being stolen.

This is the reason why he has now bought a dog called Obi and takes the dog which is a  Jack Russell with him when he is performing. The dog stands guard on the top of the bin, making sure that no one is tempted to pick up any of the money that he has earned. He explained that in the past people may have thought it was just free money, because they could not see anyone performing. Now the dog is there they know that the money belongs to someone and never take it.

Li Dajie, who lives in Mapu Village of the Guangxi province in China had a pet dog that was pregnant when she also bought a baby kitten. Luckily the dog and cat got on very well right away and became close friends, which can be unusual for dogs and cats as often they do not get on. The owner explained that she felt this was because one needed the love of a mother and the other had a lot of mothers love to give, which is why she felt that they got on so much better than expected. When the dog had her four puppies the cat and mother dog remained close and the kitten even began to suckle at the mother as well as her puppies. The new mother did not mind, but when the kitten tried to push away the puppies to get to the milk herself she would lick the kittens back to calm her down and stop her taking more than her share as she tended to do it even when she had just been fed. The milk obviously did the kitten a lot of good as the owner reported that it quadrupled in size after just one month of feeding from her adopted mother.

Li went on to explain that while the puppies were weak with closed eyes in the beginning, the kitten was already running around and stalking its adopted dog mother, having a lot of fun playing with her. The dog and kitten have become local celebrities now and the owners family and friends are always visiting to take a look at the animals and witness the love and affection that they have for each other, for themselves.

The bulldog, who is named Tassey, managed to jump up in to the cab of the Ford truck, which had been left in neutral gear but with the engine running and the hand brake left off. Christopher Bishop, the dogs owner, had left the drivers door open, while he was attending to his vehicle and therefore the dog hopped in, probably hoping they would be going for a ride somewhere or wanting to play in there. While he was inside, the dog was moving around and somehow managed to knock the car in to reverse gear by pushing against the gear lever and it drove right over his owner, who was underneath the pick up truck. The man was checking his pick up vehicle for oil leaks at the time of the incident, needing to leave the engine running to be able to do this properly.

The dog owner suffered some injuries to his left side but was fortunately able to get up from the ground pretty quickly and stop the truck before it ran in to a fence and therefore preventing it from causing terrible damage.

The forty three year old man, was not fond of doctors and so he did not seek medical attention for six hours, choosing to rest in his house instead in the hope that he would not need to go to hospital. He eventually had to go and went to Pasco Regional Hospital to be checked over by the medical team and his injuries were treated. Fortunately he was found to not have any life threatening injuries to his damaged left hand side, despite the wheels rolling over him.

Wonder Woman

This is not her only change. The comic strip has a new author, J Michael Straczynski, is bringing a lot of changes to the character to bring her up to date. He was aiming to make her look tougher and more sensible with a much more modern look. For a character that has superhuman powers and fights many villains, she really needs to look the part and the new look seems to have done the job. It does not seem right for a trough woman to be fighting villains in just a swimsuit and so replacing them with leggings was a wise choice. He is also updating the story lines so that the character fits with her new look and is kept up to date.

The comic strip has been running for 69 years and there were also two television series in the 1970’s and a recent animated film made. It is hoped that the new image and life style will mean that Wonder Woman will remain a popular cartoon character that the modern girl can associate with.

It seems that a gang drove up to his vehicle and open fired with automatic weapons. The singer was speeding along in his vehicle when they came alongside in a white truck. Despite the increased security measures that he had taken up, as he was aware that he could be a target, it was not enough to protect him. It is felt that he was targeted because his songs contain references to drug barons, celebrating their lives. Recently many singers in Mexico doing this type of material have become the target of rival drug gangs which is why he stepped up his own security measures but unfortunately to no avail.
