Vegetable Museum

Have you ever seen a version of Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa made out of vegetables?

A 35 year old Chinese artist, Ju Duoqi, is showing her incredible work in an exhibition in Bejing.

She is using vegetables as her tools in making famous paintings which includes, besides Leonardo da Vinci´s Mona Lisa, Vinci’s The Last Supper, Picasso’s The Dream, and Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe.

This version of Mona Lisa (pic below) is composed of tofu and sea kelp.

“I want to give new life to these unnoticeable vegetables, and let them not be bound by what they are anymore,” Duoqi said.
