George Clooney is on vacation in Italy. While driving he accidentally shunted a woman’s car from behind.

He accepted the blame and wanted to pay the woman for repairs. When she went to collect her vehicle from the repairers, she got a nice surprise. The movie star had bought her a new replica of her Lancia Ypsilon model. The cost of the car was £14,000.

There was even a note of apology on the windscreen, saying: “I’m so sorry. Hope you’ll forgive me. George Clooney.”

How lucky is she. Met her favorite actor and got a new car.

Martin Rapos, a depressed 31 year old man from Italy, tried to kill him self by getting run over by a train in Italy.

According to police, he planned his suicide very carefully and knew exactly when the train was due, but he mixed up the tracks and layed down on the wrong set of tracks.

The train went past him at high speed and the train driver spotted him and called police. They took him to the hospital where he is being treated for depression.

Two Italian pensioners ended in a fight over who would get the last piece of cake at an all-you-can-eat buffet.

When a 70 year old Niccolo Bruno grabbed the cake a second pensioner, Alfredo Mancini 62, stabbed his knife into the unfortunate Bruno at the food counter of a restaurant in Novate Milanese, northern Italy.

Mancini was then arrested when he tried to hobble out of the store on a walking stick and is facing jail on charges of bodily harm.

Bruno was taken to hospital but later released after doctors treated the stab wound.
