Allergies are a disorder of the immune system and are very annoying. There are things that we take for granted in this world, such as sun, water, electricity, etc… But there are people who are actually allergic to those things.

Polymorphic Light Eruption (sun allegry) is a skin complaint caused by sunlight and is sometimes called sun poisoning. People with this allergy can experience a reaction after a sun exposure such as rash, red spots that often occurs on neck, chest, arms and thighs. This reaction usally occurs withing a day after being in the sun. Without medical treatment it can take seven to ten days for the rash to disappear.

Aquagenic Urticaria (water allergy) is a extremely rare skin disorder. Hives usually develop within 1 to 15 minutes after contact with water and last for 10 to 120 minutes. This makes washing and showering a painful experience. This condition makes intimate moments with your partner very difficult bacause of the sweating.

Electrical sensitivity is an allergic reaction to electricity. Can you imagine not being able to enjoy watching tv or being on you pc because it brings you great pain? This is a terrible thought for me and a reality for some people.

Semen allergy is a rare allergy where people have allergic reactions to proteins in their partner“s semen. Symptoms include redness, burning and swelling where the semen has contacted the skin. This allergy can make it difficult to get pregnant. Artificial insemination is one option, where sperm is washed free of semen proteins to prevent a reaction.
